Philippine Flag Cream Puff

After living for quite a while in Cavite, particularly in Imus, I am somehow subliminally convinced that as June 12 approaches, the roads should be repainted with blue, red, and yellow. Also, several flags should be hanged in almost every corner. Now that we no longer live around that area, I kind of missed seeing those shades.

So when we felt like making cream puffs, I made some tiny Philippine flags as topper.

We have a super cute four-year-old neighbor named Dave who made our night last Sunday.  He loved our cream puffs so much he could eat the flag with a single bite.  He mistakenly assumed that the custards were cheese that he said "sobrang cheesy pare!".  I love cute kids that are also funny! :))

Happy Independence day!  It would have been happier if it fell on a weekday!  :D
