18th Birthday Cake for Princess

The first carrot cake I baked was for Princess' 18th birthday.  

Princess is my husband's sweet little sister.  We love to refer to her as the "best sister in the world" and every night I pray I'd have a daughter exactly like her.  (I hope it's not too much to ask Lord. [-O<)

But we call her Ms Alien just because this is her favorite emoticon --> >-)


Anyway, the cake was also my first attempt to make a 2 tier cake and a carrot cake.

According to my testers (tasters) who did a series of sampling, the taste was yummy.

I was also pleased with it's taste.

There were little imperfections with the design, but in general it was good.

It must be... I spent hours preparing it! /sweat

Was glad Princess was happy with it.  :) 

Except for the fact that she can't eat her cake since she's miles away (aww). 

Don't worry Cess, we will bake for you soon!  I promise...
